Try Mindful Mondays at Sundew Studio! Starting Monday, November 25th we'll meet each week from 6:30PM-7:30PM for an hour of gentle movement and mindfulness meditation led by Dr. Christina Fasse. No previous experience with meditation is needed, and all are welcome to drop in. Be sure to wear comfy clothes so you can easily move and relax! Sundew is located at 113 North Lancey Street, in Pittsfield on the second floor, Suite 13. Your $5 suggested donation will benefit the UU Meeting House of Pittsfield's building fund.
Dr. Christina Fasse has studied mindfulness and meditation for over a decade, and has practiced regularly at East Bay Meditation Center in Oakland, CA and Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, CA. Christina has incorporated her mindfulness practices both in her personal, and professional life, as a psychologist. She has also completed the foundations Teacher Training Course inMindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

Coffee, anyone? While the UU Meeting House is under construction, we're taking our weekly Sunday coffee hour just across the street to Dysart's Travel Stop. Come join friends and neighbors for an hour of coffee, conversation, and community from 11AM-Noon every Sunday starting December 8th.
We'll have a kids table with games and coloring books, plus any and all kids-at-heart who happen to be knitters, crafters, or cribbage players can feel free to make themselves at home for the hour.
Come as you are! All are welcome.
About parking: It's winter, so please be extra mindful and considerate about parking. If you're nimble or like a brisk stroll, go ahead and park in the church parking lot, or along Main Street or Somerset Ave. Please leave the limited parking spaces closest to the store open for our community elders.
Community Coffee Hour at Dysart's Travel Stop in Pittsfield

Come as you are, for this hour of sound meditation and deep listening. Whether you practice meditation already, or simply wish to explore the proven physiological benefits of focusing on the breath and the entrainment of your body and mind to a pulse, this is an hour of sonic tranquility for all to explore. You may wish to bring a comfortable mat or blanket to sit or lay down on, a pillow or two, and a journal if you feel like writing.
